Our Projects
1516 research and develop small wind turbine system and implement projects to install this system for poor households, schools without electricity in remote areas across Vietnam. 1516 has implemented more than 500 projects in 15 provinces and cities across the country.
In addition, 1516 also implements commercial projects to produce and install wind turbines to raise public awareness, and research and develop applications of renewable energy in sustainable urban development.
Charge station
1516 develops charging station for school use. The charging station has the function of charging phones and seats for students in the school yard. Energy is generated from wind turbines and solar panels integrated in the station. The project is financially supported by Live and Learn. Charging stations have been installed for primary schools in Hanoi.
Wind turbine for VinGroup in Vin pearl island, Nha Trang province
1516 has installed 28 wind turbine systems for lighting and electricity for daily activities for Vin Group in in Vin pearl island. The system is completely independent and does not use electricity from the grid.
Wind turbine for Nghe An province
1516 installed a wind turbine system to provide energy for a school site in Nghe An. The system provides enough electricity for lighting, fans and other electrical equipment.
Wind turbine for resort in Can Tho province
Wind turbines developed by 1516 were installed for 18 bungalows at a resort in Can Tho province. The system also supplies electricity for 18 bungalows here.
Outdoor Air Pollution Meter
1516 researched, developed and installed outdoor air pollution meter using energy from wind turbine. The project is financially supported by Live & Learn. The project is within the framework of the program "Clean air in a green city" funded by USAID.
Wind turbine for Ninh Binh province
1516 installed a wind turbine system to provide energy to poor coastal households in Ninh Binh province. The system has enough electricity for basic electrical equipment of the household.
Solar light projects
1516 Green Energy with solar light projects for playground areas in Hanoi. Phuc Tan project was completed in December 2023, in cooperation with Think Playgrounds - Think about Playgrounds in the city
1516 cooperates with the non-governmental organization Hack Your Shack, Germany (https://dooiy.org) to implement a recycled furniture project for poor and low-income people in Vietnam. Hopefully the project brings benefits to the community and reduces waste into the environment.
