1516's mushroom packaging products have been shortlisted in the top 20 outstanding projects of the 2024 Plastics Circular Innovation Solutions Competition, focusing on the treatment of soft plastic packaging, enhancing classification and recycling. The competition was organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Unilever Vietnam, the British Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (BritCham), and the Vietnam Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Fund (SVF) to seek and promote innovative and creative solutions in the plastics circular value chain, focusing on new and creative solutions in promoting the capacity to collect, classify and recycle plastic packaging, especially soft plastic packaging.
